Standard Warranty

Thank you for purchasing from Hobolite! All new Hobolite products carry a standard 1-year warranty (used products supplied by a third party are not covered), valid from the date of purchase.

 

Free Extended Warranty

By completing the warranty form provided below, the standard warranty period can be extended by an additional year, at no extra charge.

 

Products covered by the extended warranty are as follows:

  • Micro 8W Bi-Color Continuous LED Light
  • Mini 20W Bi-Color Continuous LED Light
  • Avant 100W Bi-Color Continuous LED Light
  • Pro 300W Bi-Color Continuous LED Light

 

What does Hobolite Warranty cover?

Hobolite will gladly repair or replace your product if we identify, through inspection, that your product has failed due to poor materials, poor workmanship, or any other cause, aside from collision, water damage, or unauthorized disassembly of the product.

 

What will we do to correct problems?

If a manufacturing or workmanship defect causes a product or any of its parts to fail during the Warranty Period, Hobolite will, at its discretion:

  1. Repair the Product
  2. Send spare parts under the warranty
  3. Issue a free-of-charge replacement within a reasonable period

If the covered product is no longer available, a replacement product will be issued with a current model of the same quality, and function. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified items are covered. Hobolite will assess unforeseen situations on a case-by-case basis, subject to its discretion.

 

How long does the coverage last?

When you purchase a product from Hobolite, it comes with a standard 365-day warranty from the date of purchase. This can be extended to a total of 730 days, by filling out the extended warranty form. If a part or item is replaced, the replacement will have the same remaining warranty as the original, or a 365-day warranty from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.

 

What does this warranty not cover?

  • Damage caused during transportation
  • Damage caused by improper use, faulty wiring, incompatible, poor quality, or misadjusted external devices
  • Exposure to rain or water
  • Damage to the appearance of the product from mishandling or abuse
  • The failure is caused by Force Majeure, including natural disasters, abnormal voltages, and/or other external reasons
  • The damage is caused by failure to correctly fit, use, and operate the product according to the product instructions

 

The warranty will be void if:

  • The product serial number has been torn off or can't be identified
  • The product has been repaired or modified by unauthorized persons
  • Products purchased by entities or individuals not on the authorized list
